If this is an emergency, call first
Phone the practice before you travel. Hours change, and not every clinic listed here takes emergencies or is open out of hours. If your pet has collapsed, is struggling to breathe, is bleeding heavily, cannot urinate, or has eaten something toxic, go to the nearest emergency animal hospital now.

About this directory
This directory is built from a dataset of corporate- and private-equity-owned veterinary practices. It does not yet include independently owned practices, so it is not a complete list of veterinarians in any area. Ownership is shown on every listing.
When to call a vet rather than wait
Some signs need same-day attention even if your pet seems otherwise bright. Call a practice straight away if you see:
- Difficulty breathing, or open-mouth breathing in a cat
- Repeated vomiting, or vomiting with no appetite
- Straining to urinate, especially a male cat
- A swollen, hard or painful abdomen
- Pale, white or yellow gums
- Collapse, seizures or sudden weakness
- Heavy bleeding, or a wound that gapes
- Known contact with something toxic
